Thelma V. Montgomery 90, of Lone Pine died, Friday November 14, 2014 in the Donnell House, Washington. She was born in West Bethlehem Township on January 28, 1924, a daughter of the late Frank and Lizzie Fulton Earnest. She attended West Bethlehem Schools. She and her husband owned and operated the Lone Pine Market from 1960 until 1976. She was a resident of the Washington County Health Center for the past two years. Thelma was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church for over 64 years , where she served as a deaconess and was also a charter member of the silver star mission circle. She was a charter member of the Lone Pine Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. On February 28 1946 she married Guy W. Montgomery with whom she shared 57 years of marriage before his passing on December 10, 2003. She is survived by three children Clara Jean Thomas of Lone Pine, Kenneth G. (Deb) Montgomery of Lone Pine, and Marjorie S. (John) Friend of East Aurora, NY, two grandchildren Jason (Desiree) Montgomery, Kiley (Joshua) Iams, three great grandchildren Dustyn, Alyvia, and Cayden Montgomery, as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are a grandson in infancy, sister Elizabeth "Peg" Montgomery, three brothers Roy, George, and Norton Earnest. Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington. Additional Visitation will be held Monday November 17 2014 from 1:00-2:00p.m. the time of service in the North Ten Mile Baptist Church 322 Ridge Church Rd, Amity with Rev.
