Thelma Nichol, 97, of Lorain, Ohio, formerly of Washington and New Freeport, died Friday, February 20, 2015 in the Anchor Lodge Retirement Center, Lorain, Ohio. She was born November 6, 1917 in Garrison, WV, a daughter of the late William and Ada Pethtel Coss. She had attended the Hundred, WV schools. Thelma had been employed at Sam's Club in Washington for several years. Surviving are one daughter, Marlene Garcia of Lorain, Ohio and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deceased is her husband, Elijah (Snooks) Nichol, Jr. There is no public visitation or services. Interment in the Grafton National Cemetery, Grafton, WV.
