Thomas W. McCombs Sr 69 of Washington died Friday January 7, 2022 in WVU Medicine Ruby, Morgantown.  He was born August 20 1952 a son of the late Thomas Joseph and Doreen Phillips McCombs.  He was a 1970 graduate of Trinity High School.  He worked as an electrician starting his career at Brockway Glass where he worked for 14 years and retiring from Allegheny Ludlum in 2015.  He was a lifetime member of Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed camping, was an avid nascar fan, and loved the farm and spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.  In 1971 he married Betty Barnhart McCombs with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.  Surviving in addition to his wife are three children Thomas (Misty) McCombs Jr., Traci McCombs, Brandon McCombs (Copper Dog), five grandchildren Scott Phillips, Dakota Phillips, Sami McCombs, Tristan Brown, Desyre McCombs, three great grandchildren Kinsley Brown, Oliver Brown, and Aleah Winchester.   Deceased in addition to his parents are two sisters Lola Prowitt  and Anita Malie.  Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.nicholfuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial donations to be made to Neighbors helping neighbors c/o Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Dept.330 Weaver Run Rd.
