Thomas P. "Tinman" Recupero, 66, of Eighty Four, PA, died on Thursday, February 2, 2017 in the Washington County Health Center. He was born on June 22, 1950, a son of the late Philip J. and Verdean Marcum Recupero, in Indiana, PA
Thomas attended St. Bernard's school and graduating from Indiana Senior High. He was a coal miner for 44 years for the Rochester/Pittsburgh and Ohio County Coal Company in Dallas, West Virginia. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1975 serving in the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the Indiana County Volunteer Fire Department. Thomas was avid at gun target shooting and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Kerry B. Barnhart and a daughter Christine L. Matson of Eighty Four, PA. Also surviving are two sisters Diane Recupero Magle, Marion Center, PA and Lucy Recupero Cook, Layton, UT and a brother Vince Recupero, Homestead, FL, a niece Talore Recupero and two nephews Vincent Thomas Cook and Nicholas Cook.
