Virginia Ruth Clutter 76 of Richeyville died Friday May 15, 2015 in her home. She was born in Washington on January 23, 1939 a daughter of the late Otis and Margaret Elizabeth Moore Friend. She attended Lone Pine School. Virginia worked as a waitress at Club Forty for many years. She also worked for Pryor Bus Line and Metro Glass in Washington. She was a member of Highland Brethren Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving is her husband Leo Earl Clutter of Richeyville, four daughters Cathy Roble Christopher (Bill) of Clarksville, Wilma Roble Phillips (Bill) of Cokeburg, Donna Roble Gump (Ron) of Washington, Wanda Roble Hinnebusch (John) of Eighty Four, seven grandchildren Heath Phillips, April Phillips, Shelly Wood Vickers, James Kress, Jeffrey L. Gump II, Melissa Ealy, Rachel Hinnebusch, twelve great grandchildren, two sisters Nellie Cox of Washington, Martha McAfee of Washington, as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents are a grandson Freddy Woods Jr., sister Dorothy Shargots, four brothers David Friend, Roy McCarty, Otis Friend Jr., and Earl Friend. Family and friends will be received Monday from 2-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 19, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow in Highland Brethren Cemetery, Marianna.
