Walter Holt, 79, Washington, passed away on October 16, 2013. He was born in North Strabane Township on March 26, 1934, a son of the late John and Nellie Holt. He worked as a shelf stocker at Giant Eagle where he retired in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Dawn and five children, Douglas Holt, North Strabane, Yvonne Federouch, North Strabane, Joshua Holt, Fort Mills, South Carolina, Samuel Holt, Hagerstown, Maryland, Alissa Holt, Washington, PA. and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Etta Harper, Canonsburg, and Virginia Close, Washington. Deceased in addition to his parents are one brother, John Holt, and two sisters, Ethel Czernecki and Gladys Holt. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington.
