Obituary

Wanda M. Frazee Wanda M. Frazee, 91, of Washington, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in Washington Health System.  She was born December 22, 1930, in Cameron, W.Va., a daughter of the late Basil and Nora Fletcher McCracken Sr.  She was raised on a fruit and dairy farm.  Wanda was a 1950 graduate of Cameron High School.  She worked for ARC Human Services, cleaning the offices of Ametek in Eighty Four, as well as housekeeping for several individuals.  Wanda was a religious woman, being a member of Grace Brethren Church in Washington, where she had held several offices.  She was also an honorary lifetime member of Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.  She was famous for her homemade noodles, award winning apple pie and orange cookies.  Wanda enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting and latch hooking.  She also loved having fun with her family, riding quads, going on horse buggy rides, and travel.  Surviving are four sons, George (Billie Jo) Maxwell, Kevin (Kathy) Maxwell, Keith (Mary Beth) Maxwell, all of Prosperity, Dee (Peggy Hartzog) Frazee Sr. of Washington; a daughter, Ann (Scott) Reeves of Amity; 12 grandchildren, Richard (Jill Dorsey), Danny (Samantha Clark) and Corey Maxwell, Marie Maxwell, Morgan (Chris) Nardi, Zachary (Jessica), Timothy and Mikalah Maxwell, Dee Frazee Jr., Katelynn Frazee, Christopher and Ashley Reeves; step grandchildren, Stacy Russell, Wesley (Brandi), Ryan (Monica) and Brandon (Tiffany) Frazee; seven great -grandchildren, Shania, Tyler and Trevor Maxwell, Jackalynn and Haleigh Maxwell, Allan Maxwell, Owen and Levi Nardi; eight stepgreat-grandchildren, Makenna Frazee, Chris Furbee, Claire Frazee, Jaycee Frazee, Claudyia Shanks, Jace, Whitney and Elizabeth Eidens; and one great-great-granddaughter, Colbi Grace Maxwell. Preceding her in death were her first husband, George Maxwell, and second husband, Howard Frazee; brothers Basil, Keith and Rolland; sisters, Juanita and Anna Lucy McCracken; two stepgreat-granddaughters, Rylin and Monroe Frazee. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 6, and from 9 to the 11 a.m. time of funeral services Monday, February 7, with Pastor Doug Shoaff officiating, in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington.  Interment will follow in Upper Ten Mile Cemetery, Prosperity Lone Pine Ladies Auxiliary will hold a memorial service at 7 p.m. Sunday, in the funeral home.
