Obituary
William Jacob Abbott, 71, of Carmichaels, died Saturday, March 11, 2017.
He was born January 10, 1946, in Fredericktown, a son of the late Fred L. and Rose Dabranski Abbott.
He graduated from West Beth High School in 1964 and continued his education at New Castle School of Trade . In 1998, he retired from Laurel Health in Uniontown. He was a member of Shilo Baptist Church, Vestaburg.
He is survived by his wife, Irene L. Abbott, two stepsons, Robert (Sandy)Ostrander of North Carolina state and Jim (Mary Ann) Ostrander of Georgia state, two sisters Virginia Abbott-Frye of West Brownsville and Helen Abbott-Sands of Fredericktown; two brothers, Fred T. Abbott of Chicago, Ill. and Jack L. Abbott of Pittsburgh.
Deceased in addition to his parents, are three sisters, Barbara Jean Abbott-Harvey, Anna Marie Abbott and Rose Abbott-Keys.
There will be no public visitation.
Arrangements are being handled by Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA.
