William Howard "Fuzzy" Cass 74 of Washington died Tuesday August 26 2014 in his home. He was born in Washington on August 28, 1939 a son of the late William Howard and Edith P. Fisher Cass. He attended Chartiers Schools. Fuzzy worked many years as a journeyman operator for Brockway Glass until its closing. He enjoyed throwing pigeons, loved old cars, fishing and racing pigeons in the Great American Combine. On June 1, 1968 he married June Hartzog. Together they shared 46 years of marriage. Surviving in addition to his wife June Cass are two children Edith Ann (Christopher) Carpenter of Morrisville, NC, and William Shawn Cass of Washington, a brother Edward (Alice) Cass of Plum Boro, four grandchildren Morgan, Mikayla, Austin, and Alexys, two great grandchildrenWyatt and Raeyah, as well as a nephew Jon Johnson. Deceased in addition to his parents are a sister Joy Remaley and a niece Diane Johnson. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home 1873 East Maiden Street Washington where funeral services will be held on Friday August 29, 2014 at 11:00a.m..
