William D. Clutter (B.C.), 80, of Washington, PA died Thursday, July 22, 2017 at the Washington Hospital.
He was born September 3, 1936, the son of the late Dewey William and Ruby Champ Clutter of Washington.
He attended Trinity High School
Bill enjoyed fixing cars, doing mechanical work on all types of machinery and driving tractors. He also enjoyed hunting.
Bill retired in 1999 as an equipment operator for South Strabane Township. After his retirement, he worked part-time for Citizens Library in Washington.
On June 12, 1955, he married Joann L. Hixenbaugh who died July 20, 2005.
Surviving are one daughter, Linda Puskarich of Washington; two sons, David (Sara) Clutter of Sycamore, PA and Douglas (Connie) Clutter of Washington, and his buddy and best friend, Ron Casper; five grandchildren, Shonda Paul, Traci Puskarich, Jacob (Hanna) Puskarich, Christopher (Tammy) Clutter and Julie (Chris) Mankey.
Family and friends will be received Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2017 with Pastor Linda Mankey, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg, PA. He lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Citizens Library, 55 South College Street, Washington, PA 15301.
